The Aurora Theater -
Opened to a sellout crowd in 1925 with a showing of Madame Sans Gene starring Gloria Swanson, the Aurora Theater was promoted as a safe modern theatre, equipped for motion pictures, dramatic and musical entertainment, both local and touring. Today, the theatre has undergone a dramatic renovation with beautiful mahogany doors accented with brass kick plates, an expanded lobby area to welcome patrons, and a brand-new concession area featuring state-of-the-art food service equipment.
